Does the free tool upload my CSV file?
No. The free cleaner uses JavaScript locally in your browser. CSV data is not sent to our server for cleaning.
Does DataFix support Excel .xlsx files?
The free tool accepts comma-separated CSV only. The Pro download is designed for CSV workflows; it is not advertised as a native Excel workbook editor.
Are duplicates detected using fuzzy matching?
No. The free tool removes identical rows after the selected cleaning rules. Similar names, spellings and addresses are not automatically merged.
